What is "Cochlo" ?

"Cochlo" is unicellular marine plankton belonging to dinoflagellate. Cell is ellipsoidal, slightly flattened dorso-ventrally, of its length 30-40 μm and with 20-30 μm. Cells sometimes form chain without separation after cell division. Cells usually swim actively. Please observe the swimming manner in the following movie.
