The 2nd NOWPAP Workshop on Marine Litter was held on 28-29 March in Toyama,
Japan.
About 90 people including presenters and experts from NOWPAP Member States
(China, Japan, Korea and Russia) and other region participated in this
workshop. Through the workshp, participants shared information and exchanged
opinions in the pursuit of more effective ways to solve marine litter problems.
The information and opinions shared at this workshop help develop a Regional
Action Plan on marine litter in the NOWPAP Region
